FAQ
Here are the answers to some of our most asked questions. If you have any other enquiries, please feel from to contact us and we will be in touch to discuss your needs.
What items are tax deductible?
This is one of the most common questions asked by both individuals and business owners.
There is no one answer to this question and it depends on your industry and business structure.
We will be able to quite you though in the right direction and ensure you are claiming every possible deduction you are entitled.
I am thinking of setting up a new business, can you help me?
We sure can!
We are very passionate about small business owners. As they say “find something you love doing and you will never work a day in your life”.
We will guide you through the whole process from the start and advise you of all your obligations as a small business owner.
Do I have to be registered for GST?
A business is only required to be registered for GST when their annual turnover exceeds $75,000 per annum.
Once registered for GST you add 10% GST to all of the invoices that you issue to customers, you get to claim the GST on your expenses and you are then required to complete Business Activity Statements (BAS) monthly or quarterly.
I currently have an accountant that I have been with for many years, I am not happy with the service but do not know how to change?
Please call our office to discuss further.
We can discuss you needs and see if we might be able to offer you a service you feel you are currently not receiving.
I really don't like doing book work!
No problem, we have a team of bookkeepers that we can match to your needs. Whether you require bookkeeping weekly, monthly or an hour a quarter we will have one to suit your needs.
